At the helm is Larry VanSickel – CEO, whose 40‑year career has shaped some of the most respected brands in the audio industry. Larry has held key management roles and driven success at companies including Hafler Mobile, Rockford Fosgate, Lightning Audio, Diamond Audio, and Cerwin Vega. As a founding force behind CICADA AUDIO, he continues to lead the company forward — blending industry‑leading engineering with a relentless commitment to performance, innovation, and rider experience.

Larry Frederick - Audio Pioneer

Larry Frederick was a true innovator—an experienced product guy, designer, educator, and visionary. His influence helped launch some of the most iconic 12‑volt audio brands in the industry, including the original Audiomobile, Proton, Coustic, and Phoenix Gold. Larry also designed every Diamond Audio and Cerwin Vega Mobile product from 2011–2019. Over his career, he created thousands of mobile audio products, earned five CES Design & Engineering Awards, and trained thousands of retailers and installers across 28 countries.

In 2020, Larry founded CICADA AUDIO, dedicating himself to designing and building the best motorcycle audio lineup on the market.
